Privacy Policy

Steps: Pocket Pedometer Lite is the ad-supported edition. It reads your step count from Apple Health and nothing else, but it serves ads through Google AdMob, which the paid edition does not, and handles its optional Remove Ads purchase through RevenueCat. Your Health data is never shared with advertisers. The app has no analytics or crash-reporting service of its own.

This Privacy Policy is specific to Steps: Pocket Pedometer Lite and explains what information the app handles and how. Your content is stored only on your device. For our company-wide policy, see the Pixel Fox Studio Privacy Policy.

Personal Information

Steps: Pocket Pedometer Lite does not require an account. We only receive your name or email address if you choose to contact us for support.

Automatically Collected Information

• Data Google AdMob collects to serve and measure ads, including device and advertising identifiers, coarse location, and ad interactions (see Third-Party Services below)
• Your purchase status, held by RevenueCat against a random app user ID (see Third-Party Services below)

Steps: Pocket Pedometer Lite has no analytics or crash-reporting service of its own.

The Lite edition reads step-count data from Apple Health, and only after you grant permission. It reads no other Health category, and Health data is never sent to the ad network or anywhere else off the device.

Steps: Pocket Pedometer Lite is free to use. It includes an optional one-time Remove Ads purchase. The purchase is processed by Apple, and your Remove Ads status is managed through RevenueCat so it can be restored on your devices. RevenueCat holds that purchase record against a random app user ID — not your name or email address — and we never receive your payment details, which are handled entirely by Apple.

Steps: Pocket Pedometer Lite relies on the following services. All maintain strong privacy standards; data you keep on your device or in your private iCloud is never shared with them beyond what is described here.

• On-device data: Kept until you delete it or remove the app. iCloud-synced data is retained in your own iCloud account.
• Purchase records: Retained as required for financial and tax records.

You have the right to:

• Access & portability: Your data lives on your device — you can view and export it directly in the app or through iOS.
• Deletion: Delete entries in the app, or remove the app to delete its on-device data.

If you are in the European Union (GDPR) or California (CCPA/CPRA), you have additional rights, including to object to or restrict processing and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. To exercise any right, contact hello@pixelfoxstudio.com.

We use appropriate technical safeguards, including HTTPS/TLS for any data in transit and on-device encryption provided by iOS. No system can be guaranteed 100% secure, but keeping your data on your device by default is our strongest protection.

Steps: Pocket Pedometer Lite is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact hello@pixelfoxstudio.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy here and revise the "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice in the app where appropriate.
